Who is the program designed for?
The program has been developed for health professionals and anyone providing care, education and/or counselling to families and young children including; Child and Family Health Nurses, Psychologists, Social Workers, Family Support Workers and Early Childhood Educators.
Who is the program delivered by?
All course material is written and delivered by our team of qualified health professionals.
How long does the program take to complete?
Each course in the series takes approximately 75-120 minutes to complete.
Does the program include safe sleeping guidelines?
Yes. Course 1 (our foundation course), includes a comprehensive module with 7 evidence-based lessons on how to create a safe sleeping environment for infants and young children.
How long do I have access to the course material?
Once registered, you will have access to the course content for 12 months.
Can I purchase Courses 2 and 3 separately?
No. As Course 1 is our foundation course and basis for the successful implementation of the settling strategies covered in Courses 2 and 3, we do not offer these as individual courses for purchase.
Will I receive a Certificate of Completion?
Yes. On successful completion of the online course, participants will be issued with a Certificate of Completion.
Does the certificate of completion mean I am a certified Safe Sleep Space consultant?
No. While the course has been designed to enhance the knowledge of health professionals and anyone providing care, education and/or counselling to families and young children, it does not give you certification or accreditation as a Safe Sleep Space consultant.
